for me paragliding is so much more than just riding a kite down a cliff

it is so amazing to glide quietly over wild places
becoming a bird, so free and one with the winds
soaring under the clouds above everything close to me

it is realising my childhood dream of flying away
connecting deeply with friends that share my passion
challenging my notions of whats possible
experiencing the immediate consequence of my decisions
appreciating every moment nature offers me

becoming one with the universe and living my life as intensely as I can...

curriculum vitae

I was born and raised in Zell am See/Kaprun, Salzburg, Austria. After graduation I moved to Interlaken, Switzerland.

It is in this amazing place where I experienced my first flight some 13 years ago. It changed my life and I am hooked ever since.

Many successful years of competition gliding followed that brought me and my friends in the Swiss National Team to wonderful places around the globe.

Now I live in beautiful Salzburg, where I freelance for Thermik Magazin, work as an event organizer, flying guide and flight instructor. In between I fly whenever possible, to say the least, but hey who can blame me, this place is irresistible from above ;-).
